Four Pocket Pixies

A couple weeks ago, a work friend asked if I could crochet a little fairy for her friend's four year old daughter. She was looking for something to go with fairy books she was mailing.

I found this free pattern for Pocket Pixies designed by Jade at Sweet Softies. I followed her pattern closely using a variety of yarns from my stash. I made one then wanted to try a couple more using different colours and hair techniques.

Our granddaughter enjoyed naming them. As I finished, I would send her a photo and she would name it without hesitation.

I had planned to stop at three Pocket Pixies, but our youngest grandson, wanting to get in on the name game, asked me to call the next one Fiona. Who can resist such a sweet request?

In the end, I made Four Pocket Pixies. Introducing Flower, Crystal, Tulip and Fiona (left to right in the order they were made).

I like the look of each Pocket Pixie, but I think my fourth and final one named Fiona was my favourite.

What do you think? Do you have a preference?
