My Mum-In-Law's birthday was yesterday. My Dad's birthday is tomorrow. Usually, we have our parents over for dinner to celebrate. This year we decided to change things up a bit by inviting them out for dinner.
We selected one of our favourite Vietnamese restaurants Tamarine by Quynh Nhi. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion and the food was delicious as always. Dining Out to Celebrate April birthdays was fun.
Afterwards, we headed back to our house for a yummy, sensibly-sized carrot cake from Sobeys and cappuccinos.
Cake and candles are a crucial part of birthday celebrations in our family.
